Submit comments in opportunities
Comments are a very useful tool for simple collaboration on opportunities.

Required user role: Manager/Contributor
You can post comments and reply to your colleagues' comments to keep the discussion going about the opportunities you're currently working on.
Publish a comment
To publish a comment, click the chat icon at the top right of the opportunity overview. A side panel will open on the right of the page.
Enter your comment in the free space.
You can use rich text editing options, add links, and mention other users of the application to interact with them using @. Mentioned users will be notified by email.
Click Send to publish your comment.
Comments are sorted by the most recent date at the top in order to always have the most recent discussions displayed first.
Reply to a comment
To reply to an existing comment, click Reply and enter your response. Your reply will appear below the initial comment.
You can use rich text editing options, add links and mention other users of the application to interact with them (using @). Mentioned users will be notified by email.
A few specifications about replies:
- It's not possible to reply to another reply, only to an initial comment. This makes it convenient to organize conversations, without the complexity of reading complex tree-structured messages.
- Replies are sorted by the oldest to the most recent date from top to bottom making them easy to read in chronological order.
- All the replies can be hidden in a collapsible section.
Edit and delete comments and replies
You can edit or delete the comments and replies you previously posted. Click the ellipsis icon within each comment or reply and select Edit or Delete.
You can't edit or delete comments and replies from other users.
You can't delete a comment that has replies. To delete a comment that already received replies you must delete all the replies first.
