Import Opportunities
This article explains how to import opportunities from external sources into Inova Next Generation.
You need to have a Manager role to import opportunities.
Launch an Import
Go to the navigation bar, click the Create button at the bottom, and select Import Opportunities.
An import pop-up will appear. Follow the steps below.
Select the Source of the Import
You can perform a standard import using one of the four first import options - Pharma asset, Technology, Consumer health asset and Organization - or do a Cortellis import.
It's highly recommended to use one of the Excel templates provided: click Instructions and Download template.
Opportunities can be imported into one or multiple initiatives at the same time. You need first to define in the Excel spreadsheet the initiative(s) that you want to import the opportunities into. Opportunities without an initiative defined in the file will be imported to the default initiative selected during the import.
The list of opportunities that you will use for the import can be exported from a database, provided by a consultant, or created manually during a conference for instance.
